HOME : BEST OF BOTH WORLDS : PLANNING

In view of the vast number of concerns and grievances shared by non-resident Indians (NRI) and Goans (NRG) all over the world and specifically in Ontario, Canada, the International Goan Organization (IGO) of Ontario undertook to pursue these grievances on behalf of NRI/NRGs with the Government of Goa with a view to having them resolved and/or addressed. The objectives of this project included the following:

• To enhance solidarity and pride in Goa worldwide
• To enhance the ability of Goans abroad to manage their investments, real estate and related issues in Goa
• To signal to younger generations the very real benefits of investing in Goa, and thus,
• To lay the groundwork and potential for the younger generation to stay “connected” to Goa in the future.
